Castle Vorden

In the middle of the forest and meadow landscape of the Achterhoek is Vorden Castle. The castle dates back to at least 1315 and is one of the few castles still inhabited. Castle Vorden is also the most famous castle along the 8 castles cycling route and the only one that can be visited. During an audio tour or guided tour, various rooms of the castle can be seen with your own eyes. Hiking and cycling routes, including the Pieterpad, can also be found in the area.
